Fresh off a tour run supporting Dick Brave, Hot Rod Devils have dropped their latest EP with exactly one mission: to prove that Rock n Roll Is Not Dead. Judging by the hot licks this trio are dropping, it’s definitely alive and kicking! Expect dancing energy, a ton of bass slap and retro reinvention from the guys who’ve already picked up the award for ‘Best Rock’n’Roll & Rockabilly Band’ in the German Rock n Pop Awards last year.

Kicking off our four-track is ‘Devils Tone’, and they’re setting the bar high for crunchy guitar and thumping bass with way more an edge than you’d expect from first glance, The gutsy smash continues on ‘We Will Dance’, and you just know these guys would be so much fun in a basement club at midnight. Of course, that is if the ‘Black Cat Blues’ doesn’t hit them first…but this is a song that’s blues in name only, and is way too big a stomper to bring anyone down. It’s the title track which is heading for full-blown anthem status though, with a big shoutalong chorus and gritty guitar to keep spirits high and feet bopping.

While they’re taking a break from touring for now, these guys are definitely ones to keep tabs on ahead of their triumphant return to the German Rock n Roll scene in the near future!
