What we have here is a good straight-forward narrative account of one of the most iconic bands to ever grace the psychobilly scene. The book traces the history of the band from student days at Sussex University to the co-headlining tour with the Polecats in 2025. John clearly has an eye for detail but doesn’t get bogged down in tales of debauchery, as such the door is left open for complementary texts from the likes of Smeg perhaps. This is a worthy account!
